Special Olympics

Special Olympics Turbo jav
Our Program and The Special Olympics.

The Turbojav is the official implement thrown in the Special Olympics. It is designed to help athletes of all abilities to train and participate in the javelin throw.  The TurboJav has recently been implemented as an official event into Special Olympic Worldwide!

All Abilites Invited.

Even though the Turbojav is an inclusionary event, do not let that fool you! The Turbojav must be thrown "through the point" in order to obtain proper flight. This means the athlete with the "strongest arm" is not going to always win this event. The athlete that practices nice easy throws using proper mechanics will fair much better.

The Event is Growing, Get On Board!

Every year, new Special Olympic States and Regions add the Turbojav event. If your State or Region has not yet adopted the Turbojav, please Contact Us for a consultation on how you can join the fun.
