Invitation to all countries around the world to train in New England with top throwers from USA and Chile this summer
We can have facilities for all events but coaching for only the throwers. Javelin -Hammer-Shot-Discus
Just one hour drive from Boston and seven hour drive from the world Junior Championships in Canada.
We will have 8 USA and Canadian meets this summer for your athletes to compete.

Tom Petranoff -USATF- NE Youth Chair and founder of Throwing Zone Athletics, is a two-time world record holder in the javelin throw. At the age of 19, Tom Petranoff threw the javelin for the first time. Six years later, he set his first world record of 99.72 meters (327 feet, 2 inches). Tom went on to compete in two Olympics, 3 World Championships and elite level competitions. He was ranked in the Top 10 in the world for 10 years, not to mention #1 in the USA for 7 years. He set another world record in Finland in 1986. He is now USATF Youth Chair and business entrepreneur. turbojav@aol.com. Tom has been coaching and organizing coaching clinics for core training and throwing for over 25 years.

Mike Lauro USATF coach and club trainer for shot, discus and hammer. His son Max is top Junior hammer thrower and we have been coaching together for years. Mike coaches the rotational training during technical sessions.

Erick Friedman World Longest Throws Club Pennsylvania. Eric is a 234 ft javelin thrower in college and now runs our development programs in his area. Erie, Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburg area. Erick is sales director for TZA.

Turbojavs. The Turbojav is addictive and fun, but at the same time it engages youth in physical activity. Setting up a program is easy, you can use pool noodles, targets, and garbage cans for athletes to throw at.

Who can throw a Turbojav into a garbage can? Who can Hit a pool noodle standing up at 50 feet?, 100 feet?

Kits. Kits are available that include many differernt equipment configurations. Kits also include a DVD, a CD-Rom curriculum, A youth guide, and a carrying bag. The Training Kits include everything you need to set up a Turbojav Program,
